PROF. DR. Abdullah DEMİR

Born in Burdur/Tefenni in 1971. He completed Denizli Cumhuriyet Primary School, Denizli Merkez Middle School, and high school education at Denizli High School. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1994. In 2001, he became an Orthodontics Specialist at Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics, became an Assistant Professor in 2004, and received the title of Professor in 2006 and 2011.

He worked at Alanya Baha Oral and Dental Health Center Orthodontics Department between 2012-2017. He also served in his own practice in Istanbul between 2017-2021. To date, he has advised 8 doctorate/specialization students in his field. He served as a reviewer in national and international journals, as a member of editorial boards, and on scientific congress organizing committees.

Many of his research studies have been published in national and international journals. He is a member of the Turkish Dental Association, Turkish Orthodontics Association, and European Orthodontics Society.

He has been serving at Ünlü Akademi Dental Polyclinic since its opening. He is the father of two children. He speaks English.
