Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a method applied when the nerve and blood vessel tissue inside the tooth, called the “pulp,” becomes inflamed or damaged. This treatment is performed to save the tooth and ensure it can continue to function.

Process:
EXAMINATION: The dentist evaluates the condition using X-rays.
ANESTHESIA: Local anesthesia is applied to prevent pain during the treatment
PULP REMOVAL: A hole is opened in the upper part of the tooth and the infected pulp tissue is removed.
CLEANING: The root canal is cleaned and disinfected.
FILLING: The cleaned canal is filled with a special material.
CLOSING: The upper part of the tooth is sealed with a temporary or permanent filling.

Aftercare:
Mild discomfort after the treatment is normal, but this usually passes within a few days. Regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene are important to maintain the health of the tooth.
